Service Description
This innovative healing modality that incorporates stretching of the spine and the principles of Zen Shiatsu while floating in a therapy pool utilizing it’s warm 95 F healing properties was first introduced here in the US by the late Harold Dull at Harbin Hotsprings, California! He called it Watsu or Water Shiatsu. Watsu is a passive form of aquatic therapy that supports and gently moves a person through warm water in graceful fluid movements. Many different Aquatic modalities formed soon after the introduction of Watsu! Healing Dance Waterdance Aquatic Integration Aquatic Bodywork Tantzu and Jantzu are some of them. There are many benefits to Aquatic Therapy ! Her focus is on freeing the body from holding patterns due to trauma stress or injury by creating a safe container firstly. Through deep listening and presence the body can then relax and start the journey of healing and transformation.
